The City of Hulst, situated in the southwestern Netherlands in the east of Zeelandic Flanders, is a historic example of Dutch fortress architecture. The Keldermans Gate was the entrance to the town of both land and water. The Intrada is written for the local brassquintet and is often played on the historic locations.
